Vanessa Toh is an actor, educator and theatre maker. She graduated from LASALLE College of the Arts with a first-class BA (Hons) Acting degree (Goldsmiths, University of London) in 2015. Her practice is deeply rooted in the body and her training in Kalaripayattu, a South Indian martial art, which continues to evolve with her training in Odissi and Puppetry. Vanessa is interested in creating new work that explores and challenges the immediacy and intimacy of the human body. Her artistic work spans across theatre, movement and dance — and is always curious to see where else it can go.
