Dr. Meera Gurumurthy is a founding member of Chowk Productions, playing many roles in the company--student, performer, administrator, relief teacher, backstage runner, devoted audience and now Board member. Chowk, in other words, is now another home to her. Outside of Chowk, Meera is a public health professional who works on new treatments for Tuberculosis. She is passionate about building capacity for public health care systems in Asia, including human resource management and driving healthcare partnerships with governments. She is responsible for new business development in South and SouthEast Asia for global public health NGO, Vital Strategies, and is excited to bring some of those learnings to the table when charting Chowk's growth and its plans for the future.
